Morphology may be nodular, pustular, cystic and sinuses with interconnecting bridges and affect daily life activity. Conventional medicine has a low success rate in treating this ailment, and sometimes the medication's use is accompanied by negative side effects. Though a few case studies illustrate the effectiveness of homoeopathic remedies, however they lack adequate quantitative evaluation. Here is a case of Hidradenitis suppurativa which could be effectively managed by using individualized homoeopathic medicine with proper assessment.

Keywords Hidradenitis suppurativa, Individualized Homoeopathic medicine, Belladonna

Abbreviation O.P.D. – Out Patient Department, PR –Pulse Rate, RR – Respiratory Rate, Temp.- Temperature, Ht. – Height, Wt. – Weight, B.P – Blood Pressure, CVS – Cardiovascular system, CNS – Central Nervous System, RESP. – Respiratory System, GIT – Gastro- Intestinal System

Narayani Kumari Copyright (c) 2025 Narayani Kumari https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0 https://cloudjl.com/index.php/Ayurveda/article/view/75 Wed, 06 Aug 2025 00:00:00 +0000 A Planned Case of Cholecystectomy for Cholelithiasis, Managed by Homeopathic Medicine Carduus Marianus and Chelidonium Q: A Case Report https://cloudjl.com/index.php/Ayurveda/article/view/76
Cholelithiasis, commonly known as gallstone disease, is characterized by the formation of calculi within the gallbladder due to bile composition imbalance. It is more prevalent in females and often asymptomatic until complications like biliary colic or cholecystitis occur. Conventional treatment typically involves surgery, particularly cholecystectomy. Homoeopathy, however, provides a non-invasive, individualized approach that addresses symptoms and underlying predispositions. This case report highlights the effectiveness of Chelidonium majus and Carduus marianus in managing symptomatic cholelithiasis. The patient showed significant improvement in symptoms and gallstone size reduction, supporting the role of homoeopathy as an alternative or complementary treatment in selected cases.

Keywords Cholelithiasis; Gallstones; Biliary Colic; Homoeopathy; Chelidonium; Carduus Marianus; Non-surgical Management
Nagendra Kumar Sisodiya Copyright (c) 2025 Nagendra Kumar Sisodiya https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0 https://cloudjl.com/index.php/Ayurveda/article/view/76 Tue, 19 Aug 2025 00:00:00 +0000 An Overview of Anorectal Diseases and Case Report on Hemorrhoids with Homoeopathic Medicine https://cloudjl.com/index.php/Ayurveda/article/view/74
Abstract Anorectal diseases encompass a wide range of disorders affecting the lower gastrointestinal tract, particularly the anus and rectum. These conditions are common and often lead to significant discomfort, impairment of daily activities, and a reduction in quality of life. Among the most prevalent anorectal disorders are hemorrhoids, anal fissures, anorectal abscesses, and fistulas, each contributing to varying degrees of morbidity. Hemorrhoids, characterized by the swelling and inflammation of veins in the rectum and anus, are particularly common and can present with symptoms such as bleeding, pain, itching, and prolapse. The etiological factors for hemorrhoids include prolonged sitting, straining during bowel movements, pregnancy, and chronic constipation. Diagnosis typically involves a physical examination, often supplemented by anoscopy or colonoscopy in more complex cases. Treatment for hemorrhoids varies depending on the severity and may range from conservative measures like dietary modification and stool softeners to minimally invasive procedures, such as rubber band ligation, and, in more severe cases, surgical intervention. This aims to provide a concise overview of the pathophysiology, clinical presentation, and treatment options for anorectal diseases, with a focus on hemorrhoids, highlighting the importance of early diagnosis and appropriate management to prevent complications and enhance patient outcomes.

Keywords Homoeopathy, Anorectal, Hemorrhoids, Rectum, Fissure, Anal Warts, Carcinosin

Abbreviation O.P.D. – Out Patient Department, PR –Pulse Rate, RR – Respiratory Rate, Temp.- Temperature, Ht. – Height, Wt. – Weight, B.P – Blood Pressure, CVS – Cardiovascular system, CNS – Central Nervous System, RESP. – Respiratory System, GIT – Gastro Intestinal System
Chayanika Dhar Copyright (c) 2025 Chayanika Dhar https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0 https://cloudjl.com/index.php/Ayurveda/article/view/74 Tue, 29 Jul 2025 00:00:00 +0000
