Abstract Title: The Synthesis of Tradition and Technology: The Role of Artificial Intelligence in Contemporary Homoeopathic Repertorization and the Evolution of RADAR Opus.
Background: Homoeopathy, a system of medicine traditionally rooted in the subjective "art" of case-taking and the dynamic individualization of the "Vital Force," is undergoing a digital renaissance. The central challenge of the practice—managing the vast, complex data contained within the Materia Medica and the Repertory—has historically relied on manual clerical skills. The emergence of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) has transitioned the field toward a "Clinical Co-Pilot" model, aiming to reduce practitioner bias and improve rubric accuracy.
Objectives: This paper explores the integration of AI in Homoeopathy, focusing on three primary domains: Natural Language Processing (NLP) for automated rubric extraction, predictive modeling for remedy ranking, and the specific evolution of RADAR Opus as an AI-enabled expert system.
Methodology & Software Evolution: The focus is centered on the Homeopathic Practice Partner (HPP) and the Synthesis Adonis repertory. Unlike traditional software that functions as a static search engine, AI-driven RADAR Opus utilizes semantic search to bridge the gap between 19th-century repertorial language and modern patient terminology. By employing sentiment analysis and thematic clustering, the software assists the practitioner in perceiving "Totalities" rather than isolated symptoms.
Findings: Preliminary data from 2024–2026 indicates that while AI significantly enhances "mechanical" tasks—such as searching 200,000+ rubrics or differentiating similar remedies—it remains limited by the "Black Box" problem and the inability to assess human susceptibility (potency). Comparative studies show that the most effective clinical outcomes occur in a "Human-in-the-Loop" configuration, where AI serves as a librarian and the homoeopath acts as the final arbiter of the Law of Similitude.
Conclusion: AI is not a replacement for the homoeopathic physician but is an indispensable tool for managing the complexity of the 21st-century clinic. The integration within RADAR Opus represents a shift from quantitative repertorization (counting symptoms) to qualitative synthesis (pattern recognition). Future developments must focus on miasmatic depth and ethical data governance to ensure that "High-Tech" assistance does not compromise "High-Touch" individualization.
